Dr. Dooley, states that “homeopathy is often an effective treatment option”… and one reason is that homeopathy considers each person as a unique individual. Homeopathy considers many details of a person’s life and environment. For example, there are likes and dislikes, food preferences and aversions, sleep, tolerance for heat and cold, other health conditions, life problems, relationships, family medical history and stresses leading up to the unhappiness. No two people experiencing unhappiness, lack of enthusiasm for life, persistent irritability, anorexia, and/or chronic pain for example, will necessarily benefit with the same homeopathic.

There is a case where a woman just took a conventional antidepressant without getting proper psychological counseling and stayed for years in a very dangerous and dysfunctional relationship. Homeopathy is complementary to psychotherapy, supporting an ecological, healthy and balanced perspective on life and inner wisdom. Homeopathy is self- empowering and supports resolution of the underlying dis-harmony and cause of the dis-ease and unhappiness. Homeopathy does not force changes in the mental, emotional or physical body nor would it force a change in a person’s mood that makes them better if that state is contrary to their body’s inner wisdom.

Stay tuned for the final post of Artificially Happy.
